This residence was inspired by tropical modern architectural style; a vernacular style that is a common theme throughout South Florida. By using natural materials such as coral stone and wood, as well as lush landscaping, the home fits nicely into the lush tree-lined streets of Coral Gables. The use of large windows and doors allows for indoor/outdoor living, which is also a common theme in local architecture. Careful attention was placed into the scale and proportion of the neighboring homes in order to stay true to the character of the neighborhood.
